Many parts of Punjab and Haryana have been hit by floods. In such a critical situation, the servants of Shah Satnam Ji Green Ace Welfare Force Wing of Dera Sacha Sauda have extended a helping hand to the people trapped in the flood. A 24-hour langar facility has been started for the people affected by the flood.
Free food ‘Food Service Center’ has been started for flood victims by setting up tents on the road near Namcharcha house in Moonak area of Sangrur district, giving flood victims 24 hours of food can be provided. On the other hand, in the affected areas of Fatehabad and Ambala, Dera Sacha Sauda’s servants have started to provide relief to the victims at their respective block level.
Baldev Krishna Insan, a member of Dera Sacha Sauda’s 85-member committee, said that due to flooding, there is a huge shortage of daily amenities for the people. For this reason, this free ‘Food Service Center’ was started by Dera Sacha Sauda, where langar will run for 24 hours for the victims of the flood. He said that for this purpose, Dera Sacha Sauda’s teams have become active in every flood-affected area. Roti, vegetables, etc. are prepared in many places, including Lehragaga, where Dera devotees will be present all the time.

Sevadars from Dera Sacha Sauda rescued 6 people trapped in the flood waters. 15 member Prem Singh Insan said that 6 members were seriously trapped in the water in a house built in the fields at a distance of about two and a half kilometers from Sadharanpur village. Four of these members were small children and two are older members. He said that despite repeated calls to the administration, none of the officers reached it. The sevadars who reached the spot walked through the water and safely pulled out the trapped limbs with the help of ropes.
