Minister of Water Supply assesses ongoing drinking water schemes and proposed works

Jaipur. Health Minister Dr Mahesh Joshi said that complaints related to drinking water supply should be resolved in a timely manner and field technicians should keep their mobile phones on for 24 hours so that problems related to water can be resolved. The water supply minister said no officer should leave the headquarters without permission from senior officials. He also provided instructions for prompt handling of water-related complaints received on the Sampark portal. In addition, he said that the additional chief engineer and superintending engineer should also ensure random check of the removal of complaints received on the contact portal.

Dr. Joshi reviewed all the ongoing drinking water schemes and proposed works of Jaipur City and Jaipur District on Tuesday. He instructed to complete the current plans in time and to provide relief to the common people. In addition, he said that for the works to be carried out with priority, the works should be completed on time by issuing short-term tenders. He asked for several pending proposals to be approved soon and for the plans to be put on the ground. Ordered to complete the works related to the Chief Minister’s budget announcements on priority and to speed up the ongoing major drinking water schemes Kho-Nagoriyan, Harmada and Prithviraj Nagar etc. in the city of Jaipur.

The water supply minister said that in case of leakage in the main pipeline from Bisalpur to Jaipur, it should be shut down in any case, taking into account all technical aspects, a mechanism should be developed so that the drinking water supply continues.
