Jaipur (Sachhoon News). Drug Trafficking: The Joint Army, CAPF and Police Security Seminar was organized at Indian Army South Western Command Headquarters in Jaipur. The purpose of the seminar was to promote synergy and information sharing between the Indian Army, CAPFs and other security forces in times of war and peace. The seminar was chaired by Lieutenant General BS Raju, Commander General of South Western Command. It was attended by senior officers of the Indian Army, BSF, CRPF, BWHG, IB and the State Police.
Participation in joint exercises and coordination of resources and manpower were also extensively discussed. The seminar was an important event to enhance synergy between Indian Army, CAPF and Police in various fields. Lieutenant General BS Raju calls for synergy in information sharing, including resources and operational philosophy to coordinate all instruments of national power at all levels. Active by BSF and military in countering drone infiltration for drugs and smuggling activities along the dual border. The BSF delegation was led by PV Rama Shastri, Special Director General, BSF Western Command, Chandigarh and Puneet Rastogi, IPS, IG, Rajasthan Frontier. It was also attended by RD Dogra, DIG (Ops), Parveen Bakshi DIG (Int) and VP Badola DIG, SHQ Abohar. The CRPF delegation was led by Poonam Gupta, Commander (Operations, Intelligence & Training). The Border Wing Home Guard delegation was led by S Sengathir, IPS, ADG (Intelligence) and Vijay Singh Bhambhu, Deputy Commander (General), representing the Rajasthan State Police. Drug trafficking
